They are probably the Xenon headlights, currenlty not available in the UK. I'd like a set though, look smart.
If they the same set that are on the Lupo GTi and they defo are Xenon, a retro fit could be on the cards.

if you look the headlights are different from UK spec cars.
the fogs look the same.
main beam looks more powerful too than ours.
wonder if u can retro-fit them.

My guess is: Nowhere.
The picture is a artist's impression, don't believe the 9N is even available with xenon's in Germany. Definite fake.

I have Xenons... La la la la la!
They didn't do them as an option on the 6N2 AFAIK, but they were standard on the GTi...
They should make them avaialble for the 9N, they really are fantastic!

I think they really are xenon lights. You can see this lights also in the "spider prototype" (see the picture below)
In the picture you can also see the retractile light-cleaning system (don't know what is the word for that, i mean the thing to clean the lights

)

That lense-shape doesn't always mean they're xenon's though. Look at the 2001 Passat, that has similar shaped lights but Xenon is still optional.
I agree with the headlight washer jets, that is usually a giveaway for HID's.

well its a european legal rewuirement that if hids are fitted a washer system has to be present. Not sure how many people/garages know this!

True again. I've seen cars with jets that don't have Xenon's though so it's not a given.
Besides, in the Netherlands, we can fit aftermarket Xenon's and we don't need to fit washerjets or the auto-levelling headlight system. Cool innit?

Washer Jets come with the winter pack, so you can get them without HID's on the Polo.
Also the first post in this topic shows a car without the washers, so the lights can't be HID lights.
As an aside, our Beetle has the same type of light, with the magnified lense on the inside, and it aint got HID's Either.....

could just be a projector beam light like my fogs, the idea behind it is less wasted light
