how much oil(mk3)

just doing an oil change before i go to work.anyone know how much exactly it will take? dont wana see it comming up the breather into the filter housing again
that was messy!

No telling exactly, a dry fill is 3.5 litres AFAIK without looking in the book. However, there's no way of knowing exactly how much you haven't drained. Stick 2.5-2.75 litres in, put the cap on, turn it over for 15 seconds, check and add 0.5 litres at a time, turning the engine each time, until it hits the lower. To fill from lower to upper in theory takes 1 litre.
Volumes apply to Mk2/3, though not the G40.
