just picked up my new 9n this morning. when u start it the screen on the right which displays the mileage goes blank and displays a 'spanner' icon. I assume this is the 'service due' icon. Does any1 know anyway how i can reset this please???

Thanks in advance :D

I guess the best option is to drop by the dealership.

This happens to me sometimes, when I take mine for its service and they forget to reset it.

Glad to hear your enjoying the 9n experience though!

Looking forward to seeing some pics

thanks mate :D do you have an idea of how much they charge for it?

my old MK4 had one too but you could reset it through the dash yourself. Is there no dash sequence?

Alternatively read the owners manual. It tells you in there too

Here you go mate:

- With the ignition off, press and hold the trip meter reset button.

- Turn the ignition on and turn the reset knob to the right. The display will return to normal.

The next service will display at 15,000 km.

And welcome tp the 9n section! :D
