I've drooled over your bumper many a time!
When i sprayed my front bumper recently I detextured the rubbing strip (I don't know why it was textured) and the spoiler, and sprayed it all. I didn't think you'd notice the whole bumper being smooth on a black car.
I'll have to get the plastic welder out when i get some time and give it a go.
Really wanna do the tailgate as well.

Looks cool I reckon.. plus having a smooth front bumper then non smooth for the rest of the car will look odd imo
Im also gna get rid of my wiper as it finishes the whole thing off tbh
EDIT: Do you know what colour and or the colour code is for that? Mines the same and no matter where I go all the VW reds are WRONG :'(

I might have to add this job to my list of things I want to do this year:
8. Smooth and de-badge rear tailgate
It looks nice! Will need to do something about the lack of boot access from the rear though - solenoid wired to a switch on the dash (use a blank down by the heated rear screen)... or, get hold of a three-button Golf/Bora remote keyfob

You use the rear washer stalk to operate the solenoid in the boot. That way no one knows its there
Did one of the front, unfortunatly its a crap picture so the lightings rubbish...
