Just heard on the news that the 180 day time limit to claim a lottery prize has expired. The person was set to get £9.4 million

I heard that someone phoned up but the guy lost the ticket. Aparently he said where he bought the ticket from and had the playing card just not the ticket itself... so no ticket no pay out... Bet he's kicking himself but then again who wouldnt be..

I think it's a funking joke that there is a time limit. Absolutely funking ridiculous. If you win, you win. They don't know what your personal circumstances are. The ticket might be last thing on your mind. Regardless you should be able to claim whenever you want.
