Has any1 ever had this? Basically the rear wash/wipe is quite poor. I have a aero wiper and it wipes but sort of skips the middle of the rear window where the wash is usually shot. The aero blade is not worn, had a build up of dirt, but i cleaned it and it still doesnt make a difference :?

even normal water or rain, the middle area of the window is not wiped, just the sides just before the wiper rests and on the opporsite side?

Might just be easier to replace the wiper blade.

Have you tried cleaning the rubber blade with vinegar (the type you put on your chippies)?

I originally had the aero wiper and it left a spot right in the middle of the window too. I went back to my dealers to get a new blade and they replaced it with a new arm free of charge! All I paid for was the new blade. It is a design fault and they have to replace it, or should be!

i hardly use my rear wiper, only about 10 wipes last year
and it seems to be ok.

so i take it that it wears out really fast?

Thanks ppl, glad to know its not just me who noticed this. Its exactly as u describe, a circular patch bang right in the middle where the jet usually shoots the screenwash. Ill replace the blade and arm and see how that goes. Its like its misses it out. And the blade is not worn at all, just had dirt. Ill try cleaning it with vinegar before shelling out on a costly aero blade.
