I knw they were prone to peeling, but as far as know, once these have been refurb they should be fine well I hope so.
I got alloys wheels refurb by VW (Part of used deal) when I got my car, at the moment the wheels look mint, and I was hoping it will remain this way.
Please tell me they will................

Have you thought of buying some g60 steels for winter use? Less than £200 brand new from VW with centre caps, they are the same dimensions as the BBS RX2 (6" x 15") and use the same wheel bolts and tyre sizes. The BBS alloys really aren't suited to our winters, as the rim is diamond-cut and not lacquered, therefore prone to corrosion/damage. Nightmare!
But if you have a summer set, get them blinged up with some chrome detailing (ie. the wheel bolts and rims)
There are a good number of places that can refurbish split-rims, my best quote so far (at a place local to me) has been ~£300 to refurbish all four with the finish of my choice.

I would like a set that have black powder coated centre & polished lip, but my car is black. Don't know if it would look right.
