I went out yesterday for a drive past the Aston Martin factory in Newport Pagnel, and on the way there I could hear a strange noise - My dad held the TomTom and I turnded the radio off, but it was still there?
Then all of a sudden he says whoa, I looked infront to see the tyre peeling off the car infront of me (was only a Metro)
We turned around because it was a young(ish) girl, and my old man changed the tyre for her. The one we took off was shafted, which my dad informed me looked like a re-mould.
Anyhow once we changed it she went on her way and so did we, she got to carry on and I got to see the Aston factory
Just though I'd share that with you all.

It did feel good helping her out, especially because she said "I don't know what I'd have done otherwise"
@polopowah - She'd have got one

That's remoulds for you. I had one totally fall apart as I was going down a single track lane with a ditch each side at 70mph in my old Panda.

respect to MM for stopping. nice to have some common courtesy left in this world.
other than to have some t**t drive past and shout out his window-
"mate, d'ya need a hand? then join the AA!!"

if it was my brother he'd have been the one slowing down to shout " d'ya need a hand? then join the AA!!"
gotta give respect to modified madness for stopping to help a damsel in distress, i'd stop if i was in no rush, but generally i'm in my car because i'm going somewhere...so they can sit and wait in the cold for the AA man

...unless she happens to be hot

Only reason I wasn't fussed is because I was just on a casual half hour drive to the Tickford Aston Martin Factory, where they currently build the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish.
