K&N Drop in Air Filter - 1.4 FSI

I fitted one of these last Sunday and just thought I would post my views!
Bought mine off ebay for £36.50 and was very easy to install when you know what you're doing, even for a beginner like me (if any one needs a hand just ask).
First thing I noticed was a slightly improved throttle response, not a huge difference but definitely noticable. Before I fitted it I was expecting to hear an improvement in sound but to be honest anything below 4k revs was negligible, above this again a small improvement. If you're looking for a louder sound you'd definitely need to get a proper induction kit but for the price I think the drop in filter is a worthy mod. Just don't expect too much!
