yesturday I was just havin a spin with my mates and i was at a horrid junction, I pulled out to see a landrover hurtelling towards me, its a 30 and he was doin atleast 50 so i just got out of the way as fast as i could, he braked hard aswell, so i drove off slowly but just a bit shaken because it was close and i looked in my mirror to see him turn around and start chasin me n flashin me! so i drove as fast as i could along this straight empty road, through an empty carpark road the corner to a closed down factory, then hid in a little hidyhole. sat there for a bit and saw him go by on the road, he couldnt see me and just went passed. I was mighty scared but then thought, actually there are two of us and im a big lad, and ive got a baseball bat in my car (with a ball incase i get pulled over hehe). just wonderin if ne1 on here has had any trouble with nasty pasties like this?

Never had anything that bad, but we all have our tales of road raging etc right?

Say like, I was in a hurry once.. to hospital as it happens, and mr mondeo thought it'd be a good idea to hog the fast lane (dual carriage) and not pull across.. even as I was flashing him (lights that is ) he just proceeded to wave in the rear view.. tosser.

Eventually having been forced to under-take him, he proceeded to chase after us for a while.. till he got bored it seems


Even more annoying was this. The other day, having passed a speed camera van facing the oncoming traffic, i started flashing (lights again) the oncoming cars to warn them. Only, one prick decided to slow down, wind down his window and start shouting 'what, what, what the f**k you want' etc...

Is it bad I was hoping he floored it and got caught?

Once or twice ive had run-ins, some people go total batsh1t over nothing. I get annoyed by people flashing/beeping & swearing when THEY were in the wrong. You get two diff types of crazies, ones who are mental cause they feel protected by thier cars so they think they can get away with driving and acting like priks. Then u get the nutters who aren't all there and would relish the chance to put a baseball bat to your skull for cutting into "thier" lane.

i had something similar, the guy was following me for about a mile flashing and beeping after he cut me up on a roundabout so i stopped the car in the road when he saw me with my skin head dressed in black with leather gloves and a metal pole walking towards him he soon drove off....then the cheeky bastard did a u turn up the road and came back and stuck his finger up and drove off lol.p*ssy!

I was driving across one of those bridges that goes over the motorway and then leads onto it and this guy was swaying all over the place, on the phone in a Merc ML jeep thing, and he was doing like 20, clearly having a huge fight with someone on the phone, parhaps the wife. So i followed for a bit until we got to the motorway sliproad, and he then almost stopped, while trying to put his car in gear with 1 hand spare..

I then beeped, he stopped the car, put on the hand break, got out (on the A1 sliproad, with 50+ cars behind, started walking towards me, so i just drove accross the white lines past him and was off. He came after me, as i was in the left lane driving slow, was pretty shook up... Starts swerving towards me. So i just wound the window down and said, f**k off you sad ginger prick and floored it.

Didnt look in my mirror until i was redlining in 5th.. he was totally gone

i thought that was quite funny polosilver, these people are nuts when they hold up 50 cars whilst doing something stupid like that.....and then have the cheek to get out of the car and presumably attack you and then chase you down the road???

should have run him over on your way past

thats why i never swear at other drivers just incase + theres no need for it as it's not gonna solve anything

I want blacked out windows to prevent me from prevoking other drivers, if i put my fingers up at least they wont see it, but ill get some relief!

We all do it without thinking.

But when you think about what Kenneth Noye done to that bloke on the motorway,

For those who don't know.

Some guys girlfriend cut him up (she hadn't long passed her test, so was obviously nervous) they bibbed etc before Noye cut them off, they stopped, the boyfriend had a tussle and Noye stabbed him to death.

His girlfriend, well ex now is still in witness protection.

Morale of the story, you never know who it is you're bibbing. They just happened to bib a big time gangster

Polosilver, thats a pretty jaw dropping story though not entirely unexpected from a Mercedes SUV driver

A while ago I was getting a lift home from a mate in his MR2 while my Polo was in the garage getting lowered. We were driving along a dual carrigeway when my mate overtook and then cut up a white van man. This guy started going apesh*t, beeping, flashing and trying to drive us off the road. We ignored him and drove on until we reached a large roundabout.

As we sat at the roundabout giving way, the white van man came roaring past our left hand side, driving on white chevrons, and skidded to a halt right infront of us, causing traffic on the roundabout to have to break hard to avoid an accident. He then jumped out of his van and started walking towards us looking mean as f*ck.

We sh*t our baggy jeans at the sight of this guy! Thankfully my foolish friend managed to maneuver round the white van in the blink of an eye, onto the roundabout (now at a standstill) and fly up a dual carriageway. We were buzzing with adrenalin for at least an hour afterwards since it was such a scare but I think the moral of the story is pretty simple: don't cut people up or otherwise drive like a prick because it will end it tears.

people that drive after you are just sad morons wasting their petty - spesh if they drive big mother trucker cars like mercedes that guzzle fuel!!

like some guy had cut about 6 cars up, cuz he had been in the left hand lane to take a right at a round about but he actually wanted to be in the 3rd lane (on the right) to turn right at that round about....(at a different junction to me) he almost went into the side of my car, and then beeped me and gave me s**t, and the finger! he cut infront of me giving the jestures, only to be stopped by a citreon Xantia who was doing the speed limit (40 mph onto the sliproad onto the motorway) he forced the Xantia onto hatching went onto a kurb to over take him only for the citreon to (no physically) push him back over. still stuck behind him he was giving it all the jestures so i flashed him and gave him the w*nk*r sign (i hope he saw - altho not really sure as i was keeping one hell of a distance) when he did eventually get onto the motor way, he must have dropped a gear, pelted it for about 100 yards only to slam on the anchors to be caught up behind about 6 cars, that were over taking 2 lanes of traffic, so this moron flashes the people infront (im still keeping a distance, but you can see the reflection from the bumper on the car infront), expecting them to move over for him, like where the hell do you want these people to go!!! there is 4 cars in the middle lane they were overtaking and one huge mother trucker of an artic lorry (i live near the continental ferry port that they use - of which one of the exits is for on the roundabout) in the first lane! cuz he was caught up behind traffic, i caught up with him, and was behind him, so then he swerves in and out of the traffic cutting in front of people with about 2inches to spare at each end!
how people think they can get away with this kinda behaviour on the roads, putting other people in danger is really beyond me!!!

it was a chav!!! (pretty hard to miss the cap at a regimented 60 degree angle!!)
