My english is no good but... in Polish forum/sites I don't find interesting information.

I have a problem. I would like to buy a polo gt and I find one in good price. This car have over 300 000km driven. Car have next engine but I don't know is it GT?

How can I know this?
I read about polo's on german sites and i found 2 versions of GT

1. (limited) 55PS (is it possible)
2. 75PS

Do you have any photos of engine or someone can describe me 100% polo GT engine ?

Thank you very much!

Greeting from POLAND!!!

I have never seen the 55PS version, and can't find a reference to it. So I'm guessing it wasn't a popular engine. A GT engine is easy to spot compared to a normal polo engine, it is multipoint injection, so has a square airbox behind the headlight, rather than a round one on top of the carburetter.

On the continent, the polo gt was more of a trim level and cam in the 75 ps multi-point injection we all know over here. But is also came with the 55 ps singlepoint injection engine.
