....the following; My car is booked in for a service and i'm not saying i don't trust them but.........i don't

Without a Haynes Manual i need to know where these are so i can initial them to check they have been changed.

*Pollen Filter
*Air Filter
*Oil Filter
*PLUG (that's what the work sheet says, quantity 1 at 94 pence)(Guessing it must be the glow plug)

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help! Diagrams would be good too if anyone has access to that software with the pictures showing where stuff is (you know what i mean  )

Pollen Filter is in the passenger footwell i think... (can show you tmw)
Air Filter... in the engine bay :P
I wouldn't be able to identify the Oil fiter nor what the PLUG is.

Somehow it seems you are a little bit too paranoid? ;-)

Just don´t think it´s a long term way of doing business if they just cheat customers out of their money. Well I guess that happens too, but...

Its not the point, you'd feel happier with a carrier bag full of dirty filters!

If trust is such an issue with you Dino, why not just watch them carry out your service!

here's a pic showing the engine bay of 1.4tdi:

the airbox is straightforward to access, you need to undo 2 philips screws and then fiddle with the box until you can open it.
sadly i don't know how to access the fuel filter
i don't think PLUG refers to glow plugs as they are not that cheap and i don't think they are regularly serviced unless something's wrong.

i hope this helps

yeah sorry for the dirt  car has been lying on snow and i didn't really have time to clean it lately. what do you use to clean the black plastic parts, they look shiny and new!

by the way, most dealers here have a customer lounge which has a clear view of the servicing area, so you can watch them work on your car. might be worth asking if they have one at your dealer.

edit: just noticed, you have the brake fluid reservoir on the wrong side! lol
