I've heard about it but never noticed it.
does the re-circ light come on too?
The re-circ light on mine never comes on straight away on mine either when driving or stationary....always wondered if this was right or just another fault?

The light doesn't come on but you can hear the flap moving under the dash.. I wondered what it was at first?.. but it happens every time you select reverse.. then it goes back to normal..

also, if your front wipers are on, your rear wiper will wipe once when you put into reverse, so you can see out the rear windshield. clever huh?

Yeah, my dealer said it was to prevent that the gasses from the exhaust to come in your car.

mine does it too. No light on climatronic.
What I find really annoying with my climatronic is when I turn on the recirculate button in AUTO, it turns the ECON off (which means the aircon is turned on)! it's impossible to have recirculation on with ECON.
