A little help needed...

I'm planning to have front fogs lights fitted to my car for functional as well as cosmetic reasons
But before I jump the gun, is it even possible? Does anyone know whether the wiring is already installed? Also, how are they operated? (i.e. will I need a new column stalk, headlight switch or just a switch in the dashboard?
Thanks
Neil

any thing is possible i have a completly seterate system on mine but you can do it oem
you will need:-
fogs
switch
any extra plastics grills for examle
fit the fogs as normal you should find a plug lurking aroind (on the mk3 golf you have to tap into the connector on the fromt cross member ) otherwise find the fog wire
fit the light switch
to remove the old one can be the trickyest part. im not sure how its done on the 9n but see the diy section and ill do one now

Assuming the Polo uses the rotary light switch common throughout the VW range, it's just a simple plug and play job to replace it with one that has the position for the front fog lights.
The main thing to check is if you have the wiring already in place.

Thought you were after trading it in anyway??

This is the problem, one minute I want a new car, the next I'm happy with the one I've got. Very frustrating
BUT, I think I've found the 'one' so to speak. A demonstrator VW Polo 1.4 FSi 5dr in Mercato Blue (Anthracite interior) and WITH Barcelona wheels. Can get it for £11,000, Its done less than 200 miles too!!!
Should I go for it?
