Strut braces?

is there any real reason to buy these for a 1 litre? just that theres a deal on club polo for front, lower, and rear steel braces.
if all it does is stops a little rolling in the chasis is it worth it?
just thinking of stuff that i can do without increasing my insurance

Anything like that to improve road handling and reduce chassis flex is an improvement on any car!
Front-lower is the best brace to put on a Mk3. This is where it apparently needs it most.

Yes it is definately worth it. Unless you drive like my missus!
I found the upper one alone made more difference to my car. Gave sharper turn in and better cornering grip. The lower one alone gave much better brake feel and braking ability.
However I did have 15's and a fully welded up chassis so this may not be a fair comparison. Most people seem to say the lower one makes more difference.

A lower front strut brace is a very good upgrade.
The front brace bars that you can get are also very good, they add much needed strength to the front chassis legs.
Both of these increase handling performance along with poly arb bushes or nylon mounting blocks.
