On the site there isnt alot on the topic of tuning for the gti. Is this because theyre hopeless to try and tap a few extra bhp from?

Does anyone know or ideally have any pics of the Gti throttle body am thinking about reboring mine out to maxamise air flow but only worth it if there is lots of metal to be removed!!

If any one knows where i could get a throttle body or if anyone has one kicking around then that would be ace!

Any thoughts people?

Your best bet is to go over to clublupo.co.uk theres a few people on there that have used uprated cams, throttle bodys etc on the GTi loop

If you really wanna tune your polo 2-3k is what you need!

Thottle bodys need better manifold/exhaust, P&P, then new cams would help the valve intake this then needs a custom re-map then new compression for head etc etc etc but you prob no all this already!!

Not the best engine to tune and mostly everything for this car would need to be custom built!!

maybe turbo ... cast-iron block of motor will be good base for modyfication
