was just reading the thread in the GTi forum and thought i would start one here

i've only got 100 out of my 1.4 8v - but i could of got faster, i just shat it

so whats everyone elses top speeds?

100 out my 16V Se , I also caked it.

105 out of my 1.0, downhill with the wind behind me
this was at 3am friday night on a dual carriageway so nothing about
it felt too fast for me!

i eventually had 105mph out of my 1.0l!! engine was screaming abit tho!
have since done 130mph in a leon sport and 120mph (with more to go) in my ibiza!

110mph from my old 1.4 8v Mk4 (Ltd Ed Atlanta Model)

130mph from my Mk5 GTi ( I think I could get more if I pushed it)

109/110 mph wavering before i cacked it aswell !!!

Down the M4 at night

i got ma top speed going down the M8 at night, there was a big open stretch with nothing on it, so i thought feck it, then it got to a 100 and a shat it(probably because i seen the petrol clock thing going right down to empty )

115 down the m6 before it started to shake violently and the handling was kinda sensative.

well my cars faster than yours!

i got around 105 out of my 1.4 TDI colour concept, then i thought, feck, ive only just bought this and i really dont want to smash it!! so i guess, yeah, i cacked it

i've had about 115 out my 100bhp 16v, could've gone faster

I've had 110mph up a slight hill with 3 people in my car i think i was at 3800rpm not 100% sure though. Its a 1.4 TDI faster than book speed which is 106mph i think.
