mini mod weekend (well not so mini)

Hey everyone, I spent most of my weekend doing some mods that i had on my "to do list" for a long time. So here we go:

I had bought the rear valence from 9n3 Polo GTi some time ago, and it was waiting to be fitted. I also had the Seat strut brace sitting on my shelf. This week i found the time and effort to take them to the paintshop and get them painted.

After a few painful hours the rear valence was fitted.

The strut brace is not a perfect fit, it touches on the water canal in front of the windscreen, whereas it fits perfectly on the Ibiza and the Fabia. Anyway, a half hour of wounding my hands yielded good results!

I also got my rear view mirror painted matt black, 9n GT and 9n3 style:

I fitted the new functional (instead of dummy) card holder from 9n3:

I also had a Green Air filter lying around, which was leaking air on the left side when idling. I sealed that side with black silicone and tried out if there was any leakage. None! My advice to those with Green filters is to check the filter by running your hand around the seal to see if any air is blowing. It might be detrimental to engine life if so.

I had a blown light bulb, so i purchased a set of Osram silverstar low beam lights and fitted them. The light output is noticably higher.

Well, that's it for now and sorry for the long posts. Looking forward to your comments. And i can assure you that exhaust cutout will not be empty for long :)

Cheers
Yetkin

Easier and quicker to replace the old one. They just twist off and on, plus i don't have the time to spray it.
