Whats the difference?

What is the difference between the ARC & AVY Engine :?:

The ARC is the earlier ones, the AVY had changes made to it so it comformed to some new emission laws (euro 4), and you can also mess with the ECU with the port behind the ashtray on the AVY engines.

There may be other changes but non that I know of.

Yes but AVY engine u can do stuff to the ECU (i.e remap) where as ARC has siemens ECU where u need an actual chip to change stuff of that nature.

Yep, I understood what you meant, just hedgehogharvey referred to the port and I just wanted to mention that they all have it, what you can program or play with depends on the computer inside and the ECU brand as you said :P
