Yokos or Toyos??

Hi there, I need to replace my tyres on 7.5j x 17 wheels. My current tyres are Toyo T1-S's and found them really grippy and exeptional in the wet but I'm wondering whether to go for the new T1-R's or the Yokohama Parada Spec 2's.
I've had conflicting comments about the Yoko's being a bit iffy in the wet but also heard that they're a better tyre than the Toyos. Can anyone give me any recommendations please?
Cheers.[/url]

I'd stick with the Toyos and buy T1R, or spend a bit extra and go for Goodyear Eagle F1s
Well chuffed with my Toyo TiS, can't fault them!

Cricky, looks like the Yoko's are getting a bit of abuse. I think I think I'll either go for the same T1-S's again or maybe the T1-Rs. I've heard the T1-Ss are much better in the wet than the R's so thats why I'm not sure. With our weather you need tyres that grip in the wet.
Thanks for the feedback guys.

Right, I've ran Yokohama AVS Sports for years now and never had any problems with them in the wet. They were developed as a rain tyre for Formula Atlantic single seaters.
Incredible grip in the dry, great resistance to aquaplaning and generally a very decent tyre. Standard fitment on the Aston Martin Vanquish also.
So there you go, positive comments about Yoko's for once.

Thanks redline, at last someone rating the Yokos. Personally I cant see there being much difference between Yokos and Toyos but its something i have to consider.
I wasnt thinking of the AVS though but I agree, they're a good tyre but I was looking at Paradas. Thanks a lot for the comment.

i'd go with Toyos
my Yoko A539's wear down quickly
they are wicked in the wet but shocking in dry conditions i find.
