Well, i don't think many people have seen my car, so i thought i'd upload some photos of the pics that were up on eBay when i bought it. Needs quite a bit of work doing.

Thinkin of p/x against an MK3 Golf...
P.S. - It's really heavy on the steering. As people can see, it's not even a joke.
It's got FULL service history, and has just over 100k on the clock.
On a side note, how hard/big of a job is it to change the head-gasket? I'm thinking of getting this done just to be on the safe side of things. I mean, it's lasted 100k, who knows how much longer it'll go on the same gasket.
List of mods:
Lower front bumper spoiler from mark 3 golf
Smoked front indicators
Smoked side repeaters
G Max full lowering suspension kit (45mm)
15 inch deep dish alloys wheel
Clifford concept alarm
Central locking kit fitted and fully functional with remote/alarm
Immobiliser
Powerflow Stainless Steel Exhaust
Pipercross Induction kit
Rear spoiler
G40 arch kit and door side strips
De-Badged

Head gaskets are really easy to change, depending on how competent you are. They ideally need done at 60>80kish so if it's never had one changed then definately get to it!
I think some clear side repeaters and indicators, removal of that front splitter and window sticker followed by a good clean and polish and it could look really cool. Maybe even half coded bumpers wouldn't go a miss!

What size are the wheels/tyres and is the tracking ok ?
Theres quite a few things i would change on it. I'm sure you can get it sorted.

mate i think its got far more potnetial than a mk3 golf which personally are the worst golfs made especially the gti 2.0 bag of nails vr6 is a different story tho
give it a damn good clean and pick some nicer wheels you may fall for it then

Hi people, thanks for your opinions.
Personally, I like the way the car is sitting low with the splitter and them wheels. The logos, their coming off soon. Just haven't really had time to get anything done on the car, other that replace the battery when it went dead over the winter. Has anyone got a guide on replacing the head-gasket then?
I'm either thinking of getting the clear side repeaters and working on the car etc... Or swapping for a Golf. Just that, i've always had a soft spot for the MK3 Golfs. Plus, it'll be cheaper on the insurance (i think), being a 1.4 (not a sports version).

Hmmm... I'm sure the last car we had was a group 6...
Just that i've had quotes on a newer polo which are like really really cheap compared to the current quotes i've had. Definately not moving away from VAG. Thanks for the information though.

looking goo mate i'd say, i like the splitter, looks pretty mean lol, i'd say tint the back lights to match the rest thou and u would be looking good. i like the plates as well, very subtle mod, oh yer clean the engine bay too lol, a nice chrome or polished rocker cover wouldn't go a miss

good polish and u'd be sorted

All mk3's will be fairly heavy on the steering if you're running 15" wheels.
If i was mine i'd lose the stickers/15's/dodgy tinted indicators then you're looking at quite a smart car

If it was my car, I would probably be in tears right now!
I'd replace the number plates with some legal font'd ones, they'd look loads better. Also, pull the stickers and spoilers off and swap the wheels for something else. I think the MIMs are out now

Also, get some clear indicators.

yeah have to agree with most people here, it seems to have got loadsa potential to it, just gone a bit off the rails at some point in its life!!
Oh well... should be able to get it looking real sweet quite easily and cheaply!
