today i was adjusting my drivers side mirror and i noticed that my passenger side one was also adjusting. Is this normal or a electrical fault? Both were moving simultenously.

This happens when its in the 'R' position. When in 'L' it only adjusts passenger side. In a way its convience as it adjusts both mirrors together but it dont sound right :?

if its not normal, what could it be? possible to me the three way door switch or the mirrors? I remember spraying the mirrors with glass cleaner to clean them a week back. So im not sure if this went into the electrics and buggered it.

any help appreciated :D

Going by my experience with mine, i'd say the R should only adjust the right one and the L should only adjust the left one, not both at the same time :?

It's a "comfort" feature.

So yes it is asupposed to happen. You'll find eventually that moving the R position (if others use your car this is) that the L will adjut to the right place for you.

Myself and my mum use my car, she's 5ft3 i'm 6ft3 so positioning is quite different. We're adjusted them so many times that all she has to do is move the right mirror out and the left moves in to the right place and when i get back in i more the right one out and the left one when it moves is already in the right place.

Make Sense?

Yeah, glad to know its not a fault :D .

Basically i brought my seat a little up, and when i went to adjust my drivers mirror the other one went up too. Never seen that happening b4 in a car, but in a way its quite useful, thought i discovered a useful fault for once

If u lower your seat and lower your driver mirror, the setting stays the same but you can move both up and down at once too.
