Lampards also suffered a minor hamstring injury so will be replaced by carrick !

Prediction = 3-1 England

I think it will be a closer scoreline than 3-1, maybe 2-1 or 3-2? It would be nice to see some goals! Might watch the second half, Stargate Atlantis is on at 8pm so thats me sorted for an hour!

I shall be watching it, no idea on the score though

he's older than 17??? think he's about 21 anywho i'll be watching even though it'll probably end up just being an experiment in which we lose because he trys new things and then the press will slaughter england non-stop till the next friendly. can't judge the team on friendlies sven's shown over the yrs that they don't mean jack....roll on the world cup

p.s i wanna see carrick, quality player, be interesting to see how he copes especially playing with stevie G.

Yeah sorry dont know why i put 17 cause the lads 22 ! i think he had a decent game but didnt really stand out .

We were fortunate to win it but neither side really deserved the win so we might as well win it !

Lot of work needed for World cup in 100 days time today but some good football was played x

If we played like that against a team that hasnt even qualified for the finals then we have big probs !!

on the plus side some normal "First Teamers" were out so we do have some chance !!

Love the way its chelsea boyz playing the best !! SWP was mustard Joe Cole is just Joe !! and Terry prob had the best england effort all night !!

i reckon england will be fine in the world cup...once it kicks off our class will show, we'll have to wait and see how well we actually do but fingers crossed.

thought carrick did amazing...not saying 1st choice but a good option on the bench and defo better than hargreaves...and especially since theres no butt or neville anymore.

top 3 for me were

on paper england have got either the top team in the world or right up with the best minimum....and it's the world cup, anything can happen exactly how greece won the euros, liverpool and porto won champions leagues.
