you literally just mean a replacement filter element yeah? if so then it should just have clips around the edges of the air box, once they're off, take out old one and put in the new filter, then replace lid and make sure the triangles are lined up on the lid and the air box (if it has any?)

if you mean a box filter all you need to do is
1) take top off the "spaceship", take all associated tubes / vacuum pipe off
2) 10mm/ 8mm bolts hold the "spaceship" on, undo these and take it off
3) plyers - twist the threads sticking up, these come out
4) screw in your bolts that came with the box filter and then place filter / housing over. tighten the bolts on top of the filter.
5) if you like, reattach your hot air feed and point at filter
6) cover exposed breather pipe (recommended) with one of those s**t little mini air filters

and stick a screw in the fabric pipe else it wont idle
