Thinking of getting my Polo lowered as i'm now going to have to keep it instead of selling it.
Just wondered what everyone thought about what kind of spring and what not to get and how low, because i don't really want it on the floor but I don't want it so you can't notice it...!
Thanks everyone....

i got mine lowered 35mil allround on springs at Wheelworx in mansfield when i got my alloys fitted, i think lowering springs and fitting was around £180,
If you can see this then that is 35mil
M7 gave me a good pic of his car lowered 35-40mil

FK Highsport coilovers! Will lower up to 100mm
Or if you don't want coilovers I'd recomend Eibach springs
I wouldn't lower more than 60mm if you've got speed humps or bad roads with pot holes where you live
Stay away from the cheap ebay '"no make" crap

Yeah i think something around a 30mm drop would be just about right.
I was planning on keeping it on the standard 195/55/R15's for now, and then maybe going up to 17"s at some point.

I`ve got -50mm spax springs on mine, i found it a pretty harsh ride to start with, just takes a bit of getting used to, but it handles like a go-cart and looks good with 17s on, but you should probably go for -35mm incase u don`t like it too bumpy
