Pleased to tell you I'll have 4 brand spanking new rondell's on my car very soon - hopefully this Friday! I'll post pics once they are on the car. But so pleased - they'll look great! :D

This also means I'll have 4 BBS alloys for sale. One has already been refurbished and three have yet to be refurbished - there is the usual lacquer peel and corrosion. I've been told by vw that they are better than most by this kind of age. Anyway I'll post pics on classified in the next week to 10 days.

If anyone is interested drop me a pm and I'll keep you up to date - I'd rather sell to a gti owner rather than random e-bayer if possible!

Cheers all

Hi Mate, What alloys did you go for in the end. Need to get some new ones myself as mine are corroding. Trying to save some money, but got a £260 bill this week to have a new cablet etc.

Hi, Went for these:

http://www.rondell.co.uk/moreinfo.php?design=46

As a 15" they don't look as deep dish as the pic but they are still a little deeper than the BBS - which is why I'm buying new rather than refurbishing the BBS. I know you're interested in new wheels so I'll try and figure out how to post some pics once they are on.

Cheers

Yup, I'd like to see the pics too 8)

Use imageshack to upload the images from your computer or laptop and then post the "direct link to image" hyperlink in a new post on here, with the [img] tags around it. Once you've done a few, you'll get the hang of it! Imageshack now also has the option to automatically resize your images to 640x480 too, bonus

I should imagine that the alloys will look smart, Phill's got them on his silver Polo and they look good - your's is red, right?

Yeah. Mine is a red 5 door. It's started to look a bit tired but we've decided to keep it after briefly looking at a Leon Cupra. So new wheels, repair a big stone chip on the bonnet, and a good claybar and gold class should have it looking great again! definately the best looking car of it's type about! :D

Thanks for the advice re:pics. I need to wait for the new wheels - they could only find two in the store but they had signed for 4! - but once their on I'll post some pics.
