Welcome to the Forum mate.

We're starting to get few GT members on here now, think I'm gonna have to start using second hand to count us all now, maybe have to start using my toe's soon

2k sounds very low mileage, you've got a good find there 8) .

You got any pics?

the gt (which is the same as my ibiza sport- both 130bhp 1.9tdi) is a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing really!
lovely engine, good acceleration for a diesel, but wot really helps its cause is the amount of torque on offer!! really helps in gear acceleration!!
about 9.4 0-60 but i feel that it may be a bit quicker than this if the engine and gearbox are given a bit of stick!!
top speed is about 130mph (where the law permits :D -true vw style)!!

i think u will be happy with it mate, especially when u get around town mpg figures of about 40-45!!
on a long run i had mine upto 68mpg! i went from ramsgate in kent, to southampton in hampshire on about half a tank, thats over 300 miles!!

I've managed to get a 0-60 time of 8.2 secs, but that was just my mate with his stop watch so not entirely accurate. VW say 9.5secs to 60 but VW figures are always a load of crap. Think they test it when the cars are fully loaded. Top speed i've got is 120

You should be happy with the mpg aswell. Best I've got in a trip is 62, but usually average around 51mpg

hey, u no the votex kits off ebay, has any one got 1, if so r they deff the same kit from vw, not some doggy copy, with huge gaps

not sure about the kits on ebay but welcome to the forum.

The 160 intake mod is a couple of cheap parts from the SEAT parts bin. these parts are from the Cupra Ibiza 160pd but I dont have the numbers with me right now, sorry. You can get these for around £30ish iirc?

You will have to get used to the fact that the new car will only rev to just over 4k and that everything happens at 2k anyway.
Fuel economy is great too, mine is mapped a bit wildly but I still see 45-50mpg cruising at 80-90mph.

Just seen the other post ref pd160 intake. Have a look at the thread titled Modded for the part numbers you will need.

hey guys just picked it up, really impressed, shocking performance, nock spots of the civic sport. feels a little twitchy on connering tho, but thats the only bad side, so 2 thumps up, best bit, the miles to go before refilling, i think its gr8, lol
