Im about to clean my wheels up, now i have read the forum left on here somewhere with the step by step guide to doing your wheels with the photos. But im not really in the position to send all 4 centre parts off to get powder coated. Does anyone know of an alternative, i.e. paint. I have seen in some car shops silver wheel paint made by simonz, not sure if its any good though. any ideas to an alternative would be great.....many thanks

Some refurb shops can supply you with donor wheels to keep your car on the road - worth considering to help them look great again?

Yep, the place I have been considering for a refurb told me that a set of donor wheels to run around on would be no problem for a week or so whilst the BBS were being worked on

areet mate, i have just done my bbs wheels, admittedly, i had some other rims to put on whilst i was doin it.
I painted the centres and hand polished the rims by goin down through the grades of wet nd dry, they look good now like, compoared to what they were like.
When you're paintin them, just get all the laquer off with some scotchbrite wool and wet and dry, (they are bloody awkward!) then get all the rust (if any) out and fill any deep scratches with a skim of body filler or chemical metal. they give a few coats and laquer them
