Is this a spring and shock set?

Yeah. I found that FK highsport coilovers (only ones i could afford) only go -55mm so not really worth spending more if they dont go lower than a spring and shock kit.

this kit is a FK spring and shock set, but i guess 40mm at the back will be far too standard? or am i wrong? (as this was the case on the mk4 dunno about the mk6 :s )

Ideally 40 upfront and 60 at back would have been better, as the front is lower due to engine anyway? because wouldnt this kit make the front look way low and back way higher?

FK Highsport Coilovers.

Rear is as low as poss

Fronts can go a hell of a lot lower.

Can't confirm drop height tho.

SiDaBa, see the coilover you picked up from me did the job then!! Any probs with fitting??

The backs will go lower, just take both collers of the rear adjuster, that gets another 20mm ish.

Oh, Konigsports dont go to -55, they do the full 120mm, thats what im running.

FK sell a helper spring which when you change it over from your polo fk helper spring will lower the car another 20mm = Total 140mm is possible.

I havent got that different helper spring, but my arch below the tire's on the front!!

DONE

cheers sidaba and poloracer.

Im thinking of getting the 60/40 kit, as i dont want it too low, as London roads are terrible, and need it low and practical at the same time.

Im intending to have 16in deep dish rims on.

I guess im happy with the front being -60mm, but would the back @ 40mm look too much like stock ride height? btw, this is full set, not just springs, so it should look a little more lower i assume
