Euro Advise??

I need some advise, i really want to go for the euro look, but i'm finding it hard to choose between 16/17" deep dish i curently run 17" with a 205/40 tyre, so 17"s may be more convinient, and i have a 5dr, and thinking 17"s may suit a 5dr better, but i also want to drop the car alot more, (hovering just above the tire), but comftibly anough not to rub and be a pain on uk roads, espcially as i live out in the country, and dont wanna replace the sump every other week. Also i want the wheels wide (of course) and wonderd what would be best to sit flush with the arch at the rear, or just past, i thought 8.0 or 8.5 at the rear, and 7.5 or 8.0 at the front which wouldnt rub?, and what offsets i would need?. Coilover wise, i was thinking the fk highsport IIs which seems to be the best option, as i think its around 65mm and lower? which sounds perfect. Wheel wise im looking at designs such as rh zw1 and kerscher krs etcetc, but i think there only in 17"s. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Will.

i always thought of the 'euro look' to low, wide and little rims.
as for 17's. i had 17x7 et40 lower 40mm and they sat nice with the arches- flush and didnt catch. maybe's 45mm on the rear. this isnt going to give off a euro look though.
you'd be better looking at 15" rims that are 8" wide or 8.5" then lowered around the 70mm mark.

It depends what your preference is, slammed on some rh zw1's would look

or even some 16x8 porsche wheels

Yeh, thanks, in my opinion 15" are to small for me, and ive had a look around a fe sites like polo9n.info and polo9n.com and to be honest i rekon im gonna go for a set of 17" rh zw1's, or a very simular design around the 8" mark mybe 8.5 at the rear with a 205tyre, and aorund a 60mm drop all round, if it isnt to inconvient. i think ill just have to drop it first and see about mesurements. But thanks for the help, i'll let you know how it goes.

15"'s are the best size for euro look on the 9n shape. Im running 15"x8 J ET 9 , and on the back 15"x9 J ET -1 with FK Konigsports silverline x's (Specialy lowered) 120mm on the front, soon the backs going to match, need to change the rear dampers to Lupo ones!!!
For those who aint seen it, here it is
P.S. Please dont get 17"'s, 16" MAX!!! 100mm + Lowered
