Weird noise

Every time I am on the breaks coming to a complete stop I hear this faint beeping sound, which stops as soon as I take my foot off the pedal.... Also when taking off fast for about 2 seconds after putting my foot on the accelerator I hear another weird noise like a *mruuuuurrrp* coming from the engine. Sorry for my strange explanation but its the only way.
Any help?

Did you check your brake disks ?

hi, i asked about the accelerator noise when i first got my car, if its the same one as mine then it is just air being sucked into the engine. you know, the induction thingy. not sure about the other one though. rob

Thanks for your replys, firstly it can't be the discs because the beeping noise is still there when at a complete stop you can still here the noise, much like a alarm beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. As for the induction thing I don't know about that, could possible be I will try and work out where it is coming from, could also be a pump or some description, nothing to worry about.
