How much are people payin for the GTI grill and the spliter?
anyone know how to get the engine rocker corver off (1.0) had a look but dont want to mess around too much incase i brake somthing.
and is it posible to get an induction kit for this model?
also wondering about my acceleration pedal. seems loose, i can lift it right the way up asiff its already half way puished down as standard?

hi a gti grille is 28.98 from ur local vw dealer and they will ahve it in within a few days of u ordering it, from vw i think a splitter is about 47 punds but dont quote me on that! if u ahve a credit card vag parts is cheaper and you get a discount for being a uk polos member!
i dont this they specificly make an induction kit for this model but ben has made one for his one litre pm him his user name is polopowah.
is it the 1.0 litre that says mpi on the engine cover? if it is i have the 1.4 mpi with k&n induction kit if u take the engine cover off how pic is the throttle that sucks the air in and does it a cam cover breather and another breatehr if so measure them and i will tell u whether the kit off mine will fit!

oh and about ur accelerator pedal do u mean it lifts up when u put ur foot behind it and pull back cos mine does that and then u go to press it and it goes down and then the accelerator comes in ?

i had this checked during my last service at the local VW garage, apparently its normal. the mechanic even showed me a brand new polo 9n to show that its the same with all polos.

Engine cover comes off by undoing the four torx bolts holding it on
