for the huge effort in fitting my xenon lights. It was far from easy on the 1.9 TDI and the washers in the bumper proved to be tough, but the end result showed it was worth the time.

Cheers guys, couldn't have done it without you! (Well I didn't do anything!)

I will be doing a write up on it soon, but here is a little photo of mine and mole's car.

No probs Scorpio, removing the bumper was a bit harder than I first thought though  stupid washers :P

Looking wicked now though, probably a mod I'll have to do..... whether its a VAG parts kit or if I source some capsules for my ballasts.

Yeah, those washers were a huge pain! :( I heard that snap when we were tensioning the bumper off and I won't repeat what I said!

Don't think that bit did anything anyway Nelson!

Looking good there guys.

The bumper on a Mk4 can be a pain, let alone the 9N with its fancy 'seamless' fitting... I can imagine what you must've said Neil!

No, electronic, but controlled manually.

Sweet :-)) they did look pretty darn good when switched on!! not the easiest install I've ever done! in fact... the biggest pain in the butt I've ever done :) but it was worth it. The night time shots will look even better I'm sure.

What was that about your new lamps out shining an M BWM???, cool!!

Looking in the puddle in front of the car, makes the difference much more noticable in the daylight!

Enjoy!

Really, what I really mean is that I delegate and you work. Of course I pay you for the work but please don't charge me £1.99 a hour as that is way over my budget. Is it going to be a 30 min job?

The headlight washers were what ate everyone's time.

If you haven't got them, then it should be a walk in the park (well for the lads) not for me..!

No headlight washers for me. Does Martin provide a fitting service?

Not normally, Scorpio was a one off for test fitting purposes I believe!

Quite possibly with no headlamp washers to slow us down!
