VAG COM

Hi, This may sound silly but i've just received my vag com cable today, heres the link to it.

My airbag light is on and does anyone know how to use vag com to switch it off ?
I'd also like to switch on the beep for the alarm
You help would be great guys as i've never used vag com before

DO NOT use vagcom to scan the air bag controller you will permantly lock the contoller up and it will need replaced if the part number is 6Q0-909-605-A. It will automatically skip the controller however you can override this. If you have this controller it will need to be a dealer job to reset it see

You can turn on the beep with the alarm however I found it very very annoying after a couple of days, I can't remember the exact codes to enable it I just did a search on google for them.

Been trying to communicate with car through the VAG COM software on my lap top tonight and it keeps saying all 4 of my com ports are inaccessable when i go into options and use test button on each one to configure cable (Cable was plugged into diagnostic plug in car with ignition on as well)
I'm lost it doesnt seem to be able to communicate with the VAG COM cable thats plugged into my serial port
HELP GUYS I'M NOT VERY TECHY MINDED WITH COMPUTERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
