Does anyone know when the fuel filter should be changed? I ordered a full service kit for mine and the vw dealership said they dont change them?

Prob every 40k. I changed mine last week. Its actually behind the fuel tank which i think is a pretty weird place to put a fuel filter.

HK-6N2 - If you jack the rear of the car up and support it, if you look behind the fuel tank towards the bumper its located in a raised part of the underside of the boot. If you do change it, make sure you depressurise the system first, I reccomend a polo 6n2 haynes mnaul, doesn't cover GTI but lots of stuff is still apt.
Also, did you get your car fixed? You blew the engine didn't you??

I just find a pic about changing the fuel filter, but it's golf~
Is it the same as our 6N2 GTI??
My car still not fixed yet

Because have to wait the parts~
I have order a new "final gear set", but have to wait for 3 weeks.
The engine didn't have problem, and the car still can run, but just
make lots of high freq. sound from gear box............
