Driving without spiggots?

Guys,
Just had alloys fitted but the shop 'forgot' to fit the spiggot rings. As a result the wheels are bouncing - feels like balancing is out only worse. I need to make a couple of 30 mile journeys so wondering if the car is safe enough to drive until Thursday when the spiggots come in. Can anyone advise?

it might just be the fact the wheels are actually out of ballance...?
when i fitted the 14" clio alloys for winter, the centre bore was bigger thatn the on the polo so i should have used spiggot rings too.... but didnt!
and i had no problems at all!
only thing is that people say it puts more strain on the wheel bolts because the spiggot is not there to help support weight through the centre of the wheels!
at the end of the day it still worked for me so it should work for you!

Cheers. I've picked up some responses elsewhere and the feeling is that it's a big risk to drive without spiggots - wheels coming off while on the move etc etc. Think I'll stay safe and wait for the spiggotts. For the sake a £20 maybe you should get some as well. Now you've posted that you've had no problems the rule of sod's law means your wheels are bound to go sailing past you tomorrow.!

Exactly, that's why at the minute I want a 225 TT Roadster next
But that may change depending how much the new shape is in a couple of years.
