They're not always had to find. Corrosion isn't such a bad thing at times.

not suggesting they all cost that much, but there'll be a few mugs selling 'em for that price somewhere, and the cost of travel won't be £75...
ebay itself is probably the best starting point. prices for old cars become partly a matter of opinion past a certain age (i.e. where the parkers guide runs out - it was pretty much the last year mk3s were featured in it when i used it to figure a suitable buying price)
if i get bored over the summer i might take that on as a challenge

I can safely say the last 3 gt's i've bought have cost under £300
