Try Elephant. I'm about £700 for the FSI, and that's with my sister on who has been driving less than a year

Me & the missus just got insured through elephant. £650, shes 23, got 2 years ncb, iam 26, just been driven for 1 year 3 months. Thats fully comp aswell.

We were insured with admiral, about £800, 1 years ncb, me driven less than a year.

I waitied until i was 21 to get my gti (dont let that stop you tho)

Im now comming up to 23 and pay £600 with my modifications declaried, 5yrs protected no-claims.

Shop around, try some of the specilist brokers (Adrian Flux, Brentacare, HIC) if your going to modifiy it, if not try the big mainstream insurers.

I would have a guess at £1000-£1400, depending on the area you live

Good Luck

I'm 19 with 2 yrs NCB and the pass plus thingy, i pay £900 ish from elephant.

I hope you find the GTI you want mate, when you do, you will love it!

Also, you say that you wont modify it, i was like that, but i saw how good the car looks when scraping the deck on some coilovers, and now i have to slow down alot more for speed bumps!!!

Pics soon, when i can sort out a digi camera!

That is sweet mate, it looks very nice

The smooth bumpers is something i plan to do to mine in the future, but i need to save up for a new clutch first!

Been reading the pedal box thread and i think mine is on the way out!
