i had the cam belt + rollers done last year just in case it went , we all know  !

need front tyres soon .

i love this car it had a new gearbox clutch 3 months ago . they are getting on a bit now but the car still looks better than most other small cars .

i am test drivin a new polo gti tommorrow , . looks a bit like a tractor to be honest it is sky high off road style .could look much better lowered .

Depends how much money you got available.

I love the look of the new civic type R, but insurance will be a pig, and its gonna be upwards of 20k.

9n3 Gti is much cheaper but is it worth 15k? i'd sooner plump for the mk5 golf gti. My next purchase is probably going to be an Audi S3 or if I can stretch my budget MAYBE a golf gti. For now im still v happy with the 6n2, and dont particularly want to be in debt again. Also you have to note you have looked after most things that will be expensive to fix.

How about the new Clio Sport. I know it's french but I think (don't hold me to this) the build quality of the new Clio is great, and it should be a thrilling drive

theres some lovely Seats about now, especially nippy lil' economical diesels, theres a fair choice nowadays!

Thanks for the opinions guys .The polo gti was driven this morning not that impressed for the money not alot quicker than our own 6n2 version .
But then i remembered that the cost of a 6n2 would have been a simlar price when new but i dont think i could justify nearly 16,000 for it back then .i had a go in a golf gti and its on a diffrent planet worth the extra dosh with out a doubt .after driving the golf i know i wont be happy with the polo ever !

awaiting a pay rise in a few months then a new golf gti is on the cards or a focus st 3 i also had a look today very nice indeed and possable vist to honda for a smoke in a ctr .

i know now i need 200 bhp at least to be happy or i might as well get the bus or walk .

thaks jay

I test drove a Mk5 Golf GTi last year.

Superb car, if I was buying a new hot hatch thats where my money would be going. Well, that or one of those limited edition MINI's with no back seats.
