Hi guys,

I got this link sent to me yesterday - and thought i would share the humour. Unfortunately it has been locked, and the bloke who origionally posted it has removed his initial statement - but i'm sure you'll grasp the funny side.

dumb ass corsa owner wrote:The rear seat thing, It is rare that I fold them down, but it has to be said that when folded they remove a bit of weight. Vertical seats exert more downward force because the energy is focused on a smaller surface area. When horizontal, the weight is spread and so is less per Centimetre squared.
What an idiot. Does he not realise that the weight of the car exerted (sp?) onto the ground is spread over the four tyres. :?

It's people like him that makes you realise why the evolution of man has pretty much come to a halt!

With physics like that, who knows it probably does fly. (as in hover)

Little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Heres an experiment he could try (maybe for his GCSE corsework)

Take one standard house brick and one set of kitchen scales. Stand brick on end and take its weight, lay brick long ways and take its weight. smash brink up and take its weight.

I think someone with the brain power this lad has, would be more likely to throw the brick through a car window and steal it, rather than use the brick to progress his education!!!!

i even went to the trouble of reading right through it, just to see if he was actually being truthful or just joking!
im sure emptying his collection of s**t chav music would shave at least 1/4 second of his 0-60 time boosting his torque by 0.5%
