I read in the handbook something about how if your keys decide not to work, you can re-sync them by pressing and holding the button whilst in range of the car and htey'll re-sync themsleves? Will check my handbook next time I'm near it but if yours is handy...

As above, they seem to have lost the coding to the car, try the sync trick and you should be good to go
or just shout at the key

Same here mate. I ripped my laserline alarm out and re-placed it with a Toad Cat 1 alarm, also had some extras like the windows go up when locking, turn the Xenon's on/off with the remote and shock sensor. Well worth the money.
