I am guessing you have a friend who thinks his Audi is faster? I would guess the polo.

Well, if its a 1.8 none turbo, the polo would be faster.

1.8 none turbo is 125bhp, audi weights more.

If its the 1.8T then the audi is faster. 1.8T audi does 15.5 1/4 mile standard.

It all depends on the type of speed your racing at. A gti would probs keep up with my audi to 60 ish, within a car length, but from 40/100 it really wouldnt be any competition.

You'd have to be a very special driver to get 15.5 out of a stock 150 1.8t in most circumstances, of course a remapped one on the other hand would be a different matter !

no you wouldnt, 15.5 is easily achievable in a 100% stock one with a fairly average driver behind the wheel

since when did they do a non turbo sport?

1.8t audi would have no problems despatching polo gti

Yeh its true. I went to see a 1.8 sport and it turned out to be a 125bhp 1.8 none turbo

We know, we said the 1.8T would do the Polo

Audi A3 - 1.8 20V Non Turbo 125 BHP, the power may be different with the newer ones but they still do one now.

my sister has a 1.8 a3 sport non turbo and i have a polo gti ive driven them both and the a3 is not close to the polo its slugish and slow ive raced my sister who is not a s**t driver she has had many sporty cars eg 205 1.9gti, mr2 turbo, and even a metro gta lol i wipe the floor with her and my dad in his escort 1.8 si they dont mind tho cus ma car luks nice from bhind
