Well ive booked Oscar into Powerflow for a Cat back exhaust for next Saturday, can't wait. :D

Went to the Powerflow dealers at Newcastle, where my brother went for his. Told them what i was looking for, the 'lad' said, it would be 300 notes, i throught to myself, " are you going to have a look at the car (like they did with my brothers car) before you quote a price.

Booked the car in anyway, then decided to go to Powerflow in Darlington.
Got to the place, again told them what i was looking, the 'man' came out, had a look at the car, got his head underneath the car, then quoted 250 notes.

Booked the car in the Darlington Powerflow aswell. Iam a bit p1ssed off with the Newcastle Powerflow & iam in two minded wether to tell them iam not going to turn up on the day.

How can two of the same company outlets (both of them were a Tyre Spot outlet, with a Powerflow outlet aswell) so near each other, be so different in the way they quote.

Sorry about the long winded post, but i had to get it off my chest. :)

Also had a bit of a race with a Mitsi FTO with a sh1t looking wing on it, on my way back home, which was nice. :D

Getting the exhaust made exactly like the original one & finished behind the bumper. As someone posted on here before, 'stealth is the way to go'

Going to get my bros video camera & post some sound clips if i can work out how to do it, anayone got any advice on that :? :?:

so you dont want it any louder of deeper then? just wanting it stainless?

It is going to be a little bit louder than standard because of the stainless steel, so iam probably be happy with that.

thats cool it make much diff then the stainless steal? hows it diffrent in what way deeper?

The stainless steel doesn't absorb the noise aswell as a standard mild steel exhaust i think, so that gives it a louder, deeper noise.

At the minuite iam kind of liking the sound that my knackered exhaust is making, but iam not liking the lack of pull it is producing. :(

Powerflow in Darlo? Hmm, heard mixed reviews about them.

If you're still looking for another option, Exhaust A Fix in Darlington are meant to be pretty good. Did a custom stainless system for my friends Honda CRX and he's had no problems with it at all.

Was going to get a price from them aswell, but by the time i came back from Newcastle, Exhaust a Fix was closed unfortunatly.
