Went to look at a GTI today...

and it was gone. Saw it in yesterdays paper so it must of sold within 24 hours. This was at my local dealer too. 51 plate, red, 36k, it sounded promising. I don't know how much longer I can wait

I bought mine the day the dealer got it
I saw it on there site on say the Monday night (can't remember the exact day), I phoned them the next day, my folks went and looked at it, got them to hold it for me then I said I'd have it.
I was told they'd only got it in that day, you have to be very quick to find and buy a decent one

Mine came into the dealer on the friday, i think.
I went to look at it on the sunday, thought about it overnite then phoned the garage on the monday morning as soon as they opened to put a deposit down.
Salesman said i was lucky as another person who looked at it same day was due to phone up with his deposit.

I was quite suprised they didn't ask my mum and dad for any money to hold it for me.

yer got mine the day the dealer got it hadn't evan been cleaned or anything! next day he said he had loads o calls for it and evan offered more money!
