ive got the chance of a 5 speed box from a mk2 golf...i assume the box will bolt up??

what about the linkage...will my existing 4 speed work with the 5 speed?? or will a golf linkage work on a polo

its off a 1300 mk2 golf

the box wil deffo bolt up... as for the linkage your 4 speed one may well work as vw changed the at some point so they all used same linkage, the golf one will not fit if you need to change it though
