as my insurance has now run out and have to wait 8 days for my new one to start (due to the fact i have to be 19 for my new insurance) a friend of mine has kindly taken my car in to a warm garage, and i am finally getting rid of the key scratch's down the side and all the dents from people opening doors onto it! (this is all before i had the car)! yay it turns out, i am having the bonnet and one whole side sprayed! this will mean the only bit not to have been sprayed on the car is the drivers side rear quater, the roof and the boot! i'll have some before and after shots of the work!
a good thing with this is, i only have to pay for the paint! and he is the best painter i know, he has already done a wing and a door for me!

This sucks. Really sucks.
Everybody is getting thier cars panted... and for free!!!!
This makes me sad.
Can't wait to see the car all looking pretty! Bet you're proper excited! I couldnt wait to get my Golf back when it was being sprayed!
All I gotta do now is find someone who will paint my Polo for free!

here are some pics of what all the fuss was about! its amazing that all this damage was caused when the car was sat outside the old owners house, plus its all along one side!

this scratch goes the whole length of the car

same style scratch on the bonnet, getting the whole bonnet sprayed to save having to blend, plus get rid of the stone chips!

note all the dents along the door, looks like people like opening there door onto the car! big bad meany's

dent on the rear wing, gotta get that out if i plan on getting G40 arch's!

this is an interesting dent, i think it was caused by someone kicking the wing mirror off! dam weeners

car isn't quite ready yet, having problems with the paint in two places! all the dents are out and it rocks, just waiting for the coats to be built up and should get it in the next few days!
it like watching paint dry (sorry about the pun)

got the car back last night, the paint is aaaaaammmmaaaazzzzinng! its sooo smooth, unfortunatly haven't had chance to take any pics yet cause
A) needs a wash to get the dust off the wheels and the rest of the car
B) it was dark when i got it
C) hasn't stopped raining since i got it!
everything is against me, but take my word for it, it looks spot on

Cool
That's some nasty keying it had previously.
And those dents!
Good to hear it's mint again.
