Can you use the existing aerial with a digital radio headunit or do they require a dedicated aerial ?.

You can't use your existing aerial. The normal FM radio band is 87.5 to 108 MHz where as DAB frequencies are much higher so you must buy a new aerial.

I've just read that Blaupunkt have just released a DAB radio that will work with the standard ariel. also has the capabilty to record from the radio and comes with 4mb SD card. will find some more details shortly

I know that only Pioneer sell a DAB aerial separately @ £49.99 RRP

Kit is coming down in price but still no where near Household stuff :cry:
Mebbe next years range will provide some decent pricing :?

I only want DAB for 1Xtra!

I've got an old Sky Digibox linked up to my HIFI at home just for 1Xtra!

I was thinking of getting one of those DAB walkman's and putting that in the car (going into my AUX IN, like I do with my iPod)...
