Finally getting round to ungrading my ICE and looking for some comments/advice.

Was considering the following:
JVC KD-AVX1
JVC KD-AVX2 (not sure it is worth the extra money over the AVX1?)
Kenwood DDX6029 (double din but not sure it is worth the money and that I would actually use it but it looks good!)
Anything else that looks and sounds good - there is too much to choose from!

Another main consideration is that the unit should either have an aux input for iPod connection or be able to be set up for iPod connection.

I am putting my double din into the Lupo so if I put a single din into the Polo I will have the storage tray from the Lupo to use and I thought I could use that to store a connection for the iPod. Has anyone else done this?

I don't know the models you've asked about, but if you post on the talkaudio boards, there are a load of really knowledgeable people over there who will be able to help.

Be warned though, the route of car ICE perfection is a long and expensive one....

Rather good stereo system

In all honesty mate, if your gonna spend out for an ice upgrade do it properly

You wont have to go top of the range if you buy good brands, stay well away from Vibe, Sony and Kenwood rubbish they are a disgrace to car audio

Ask the guys on here, but theyll talk you into spending thousands if you let em it's just not neccisery
