wen i was askin ppl "do u like these, should i get them" most ppl sed i shudnt get them and they didnt like them

Looks good. Can't wait to see it lowered.
CymruPolo wrote:Don't get a bonnet bra they look sh*t. I know it protects your bonnet but like I've said before it's like buying a pair of shoes and not taking them out of the house incase they get dirty. It's pointless IMO.
I think it is a good idea. I have a noticable chip in my bonnet and its gone straight through the paintwork.

a bonnet bra also damaged someone's bonnet on Club Polo (can't remember who) and he had to have it resprayed which was ironic in a way.

WTF! Really? Just thought it'd ba a good idea.
I don't have one myself. Simply for the fact that the car already has chips in the bonnet and like you said, they do look a bit out of place. Although I would consider buying one if it done the job.

my dad has said to me that bonnet bras were all the rage back in the early '70s on the beetles!
but they made the paint sweat and fade and they also rubbed on the paintwork!
they may look good and be useful against stone chips but they can cause alot of damage in the long run!

it helps having people who were around when all these "new" fads were first being thought up
