What to change when changing suspension?

I’m going to be going on coilovers within the next week or two :D and just wanted to know what parts I should change for noise free / trouble free suspension. :?:

When I had my 50mm suspension fitted, I went cheap and never bothered to replace the top mount bearings, thinking as my car is nearly new they won’t be bad. However, whilst steering I get a knocking noise when at parking speed.

I was told it may be the top mount bearings. So I bought a pair of new genuine bearings for both sides for the coilover fitting. They cost me bloody 20quid for the pair, and despite saying 2 qty on ETKA, VW said to ignore that and its priced each.

I don’t really have the money to spend on VW’s ridiculous prices, But Ideally should I change anything else to fresh parts...as I don’t want any noises or problems later, so rather spend now and be trouble free.

I was thinking to also change the top mount itself and the nuts and bolts. Is it wise to do so? or can I re-use my old stuff? Without wasting money

Thanks in advance 8)
